EB-1A Visa for Individuals with Extraordinary Ability
Immigrants with “Extraordinary Ability” in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics may receive an EB-1A visa and a Green Card without any requirement for an employer, job offer, or any other business interest in the United States or abroad if they intend to pursue professional activity in the United States and qualify based on meeting at least three of the ten qualifications below:
Must meet three of the ten criteria below:
1. Receive nationally or internationally recognized prizes or awards for excellence in your field or profession.
2. Be a member of an association (in a field) that requires outstanding achievement.
3. Articles or other materials about you have been published in major media or professional publications.
4. You have been asked to judge the work of others, either individually or on a panel.
5. You have made original contributions to your field—science, arts, athletics, or business.
6. You have authored scholarly articles in professional publications or major media outlets.
7. Your work has been featured in art exhibitions or showcases.
8. You have held a leading or critical role in respected organizations.
9. You have a high salary or other significant compensation relative to others in the field.
10. You have had commercial success in the performing arts.
